The A/W 2026 wedding trends: softer tailoring, richer tones and seasonal florals
From chocolate and camel tailoring to dahlias and trailing...
Lifestyle brand House of Janneke is expanding its collection of meaningful keepsakes with two new titles: The Book of Special Guests and The Book of Special Recipes, designed to preserve the people, stories and traditions that matter most.
Following the success of The Book of Special Days, founder Janneke Simpson has created two beautifully presented books that encourage owners to capture memories by hand, creating personal mementoes to revisit and pass down through generations.
The Book of Special Guests offers a fresh take on the traditional guestbook, providing space for visitors to share personal messages, funny stories and treasured memories. For newlyweds, it could be a lovely way to record the words and well wishes of wedding guests, while continuing to collect memories from family gatherings and celebrations in the years that follow.
The Golden Stripe edition features a warm striped cover and a coordinating blue floral protective slipcase. The floral design has a particularly personal history, inspired by a pattern inherited by Simpson from her great-great-uncle, early 20th-century pattern designer Ronald Simpson, whose work is now held in the V&A collection.
Meanwhile, The Book of Special Recipes – Heritage Green provides space to record favourite dishes alongside the stories behind them, from family recipes passed down through generations to meals associated with friends and special occasions. Its floral design and coordinating blue slipcase make it a thoughtful addition to a newlywed couple’s home, ready to be filled as they create traditions of their own.
Both books are priced at £39 and launch in autumn 2026, making them thoughtful gift ideas for weddings, housewarmings and couples who value personal keepsakes.
